Review of the Lenovo Legion Y530 – The best gaming laptop from Lenovo under $1000.
Legion Y530 –
With thin bezels and good build quality, Lenovo has heavily improved their Legion laptop this year. It’s less expensive than the Legion Y570 but retains the performance. This is the cheapest gaming laptop I’ve seen with thin bezels like this. Configurable with a GTX 1050 Ti and 8th gen Intel processors, performance is very respectable for current titles.

NO MORE RED AND BLACK. YESSSSSSSSS. If you want a good looking gaming laptop on a budget, this should probably be on your short list. I think Lenovo crushed it this year. Anyone else love this design?

I have this laptop and those who want to buy it (especially if you are a gamer) don’t waste your money.. because when run a game the battery is start draining while it’s plugged in power.

4h battery life is great. At least just 3 years ago laptops at those price lasts about 3h or little more.
But will this run xenoverse 2 without screen flickering?
I really wanma buy it but im kinda worried of the fan noise, how loud is it when you dont game on it. Becayse mt current HP laptop randomly whines up in the middle of the class, and just sounds like a fighter jet doing a low pass.
been using this one for a while now. gaming is great, speaker sucks a little bit, the battery lasts for almost 5 hours on minimum use, the screen is awesome for indoors , overall awesome laptop, i got ripped off on warranty but other than that. BUY IT. ITS AWESOME.

Don't buy this laptop. I've owned mine a couple months now and here is my experience: the screen is very dark, fps drops ingame, the laptop freezes randomly every now and then and reboots itself and it gets very hot and loud.
