The 2020 model is SO much better than their previous models but I feel like the 15W CPU holds it back a bit. At under 3 lbs, this thing is crazy light but how important is weight in your laptop purchase decision?
Oh boy, that ending gave me goosebumps. Yet…

very poor use of space, they can't even put speaker upward in 17inch, cheap looking screen, why can't they make a glass screen. tiny touchpad looks ridiculous. seriously why there is so many empty space around battery, and when the size goes to 17 inch, who cares about weight? Do they actually do the research.
That white battery with scriptures on it makes a fucking statement ngl
WTH? I have 17" Gram 2020 and just noticed that the keyboard backlit doesn't turn off automatically after a certain period of inactivity???? Back to Costco tomorrow!
LG please keep the barrelplug and USBC charging duo, do not take either away, thanks.
The barrel plug usually charges faster, but most of all it saves you one usbc/tb3 ports for other things besides charging, but you can still be use usbc for charging if you like, so you have to option and are not limited to one way to charge your laptop.
Please do not ask manufactures to take away the traditional charging port, as that effectively takes away a usbc/tb3 port also.
I see many reviewers actually asking for this.
They seem to want less choices rather than more, for asthetic reasons.
Now if the usbc/tb3 could not charge, then I would agree with you.
My Lg Gram 17 2020 17Z90N has a keyboard problem after three weeks of purchase at Costco Canada. The problem is that the E Q and Tab keys register as P, Full screen and random letters when typing. I tried to reinstall windows 10 and it still has the same problem.
Dave, when trying to undervolt my 2020 14'' lg gram, i can't install xtu. Tried the latest release and says that i'm trying to run it in an unsupported plattform. Any solutions?

DON'T BUY IT!. I had an issue with mine, it has been 45 days and LGE does not even know where is my laptop. This is the worst possible customer services that I ever had in my life, so I can only advise everyone to avoid LG on the USA.
is there a way to set up the LG laptop in a way so the keyboard's backlight would switch off automatically after few seconds?

It's 2020 and they still have to solder the shitty 8GB RAM?
I like USB C charging but the plugs are giving me some issues. There seems to be too much strain and sometimes the fit is a bit loose. Also on my Dell, the USB C sticks out way too much. At least with barrel plugs, it is more secure and since it is right angle, sits more flush against the laptop. Also, I wonder if those speakers can be replaced with better ones. It looks like they can with so much room but where to find such speakers?

My 2 year old lg gram came with a 512gb nvme. I still have it along with the new gram. Dual nvme with raid and nicer speakers are nice editions. I don't like how they limited the power to increase battery life without the ability to change it completely.
